How to Apply
Applying to Fidgetech is simple, and there are no application fees.
We accept applications on a rolling basis and close them when classes fill up, so the earlier you apply, the better your chances of getting into your preferred cohort.
You don't need any prior coding or design experience to apply. You should feel comfortable using a computer and the internet, and be able to speak and read conversational-level English.
The Application Process
Here's what to expect when you apply:
- 1Fill out the application form on our website. It takes about 15 minutes.
- 2We'll follow up within 5 business days to schedule your interviews.
- 3Complete a basic video interview with our staff to talk through the program and answer your questions. You'll need a state-issued ID for this step.
- 4Write a short essay about your interest in learning coding or design.
- 5Complete a practical interview with an instructor to check basic technical comfort (things like using email, video calls, and following on-screen instructions).
- 6Submit a copy of your high school diploma or equivalent.
That's it. You'll hear back within 5 business days of completing all your application steps.
Good to Know
If you need to withdraw during the application process, you can re-apply later and pick up where you left off. If your application is denied because of missing information, you can re-apply at any time. Transfers from other programs are not accepted.
