Requirements

Fidgetech is designed specifically for adults experiencing autism and open to the broader community of neurodivergent learners. Our programs are rigorous, supportive, and structured to help you succeed.

    Eligibility

    • You are an adult experiencing autism, or are part of the broader community of neurodivergent learners.
    • You've completed high school or earned an equivalent credential (GED, etc.).
    • You can speak and read at a conversational level in English.

    Technical Basics

No coding or design experience is required. None. But you should be comfortable with the basics of using a computer, including navigating the internet, sending email, joining a video call, and following on-screen instructions. During your practical interview, an instructor will walk through these skills with you.

    What You'll Need at Home

    • A computer with a reliable internet connection.
    • A webcam (built-in or external) for classes and pair programming sessions.
    • For Fidgetech Design students: a subscription to Adobe Creative Suite (purchased separately through Adobe).

Fidgetech covers everything else. There are no textbook fees, software licensing fees, or hidden costs beyond tuition.

    Commitment

Our programs run Monday through Friday, up to 6 hours per day. The full Fidgetech Code program takes about 18 months. Fidgetech Design programs take about 12 months. This is a real commitment, and we want to make sure you're ready for it. If you're not sure you can dedicate the time right now, that's okay. Apply when you are.
